Players on each line will stay diagonally from their lanemates on the line where the ball is located.

This way players who find themselves two lines ahead or behind the ball will be vertical from the teammates on the ball line.

  • In this way in the start and progression phases the location of the players will manifest the appearance of "diamonds" and "triangles" in relation to the holder.

Considerations

The fact that players of a line are kept diagonal from those of the previous and subsequent lines, will allow the manifestation of "rombos" and "triangles" that facilitate the development of the collective game of the team, increasing and facilitating the possibilities of play of the holder.

We should consider in a general way, in relation to the Basic Structure of the Equipment that:

  • We must not allow the player to make moves without knowing why he makes them.
  • The player knows in every situation/moment of the game, where they need to be and where they need to go.
  • During the offensive phase of each Competition Unit the EBEA must be constantly manifested (some player's zone exits have to be compensated with swaps to occupy the free spaces that are created.

Players ahead of the line on which the ball is located must:

  • Position yourself and stay in optimal depth and diagonally compared to the players in the previous line:
  • Constantly looking for the pass line, if the marking is zonal, and receiving the ball from behind the opposite, or,
  • "Darken" on the contrary if we are marked with intense pressure, offering the game in depth and in front of the possessing companion with the realization of a "pique" towards him, manifesting 2:1 (S/N) in his area.

Players behind the line where the ball is:

  • All will manifest a position diagonally and in depth in a maintained manner (distance between lines), relative to the players of the line in which the ball is located.
  • Players located on the "vertical" of the ball - diagonally - will make emergency support by searching for the pass line.

Make short and constant displacements from this position (describedin the CONSIGNA) in order to find the pass line, and "darken" as opposed to marking us.

In the case of "darkening" on the contrary, this one has two possibilities:

  • Draw your attention to the ball (in this case we will look for the pass line behind you).
  • Draw your attention to us (in that case we will perform a pretend of deception prior to dishording towards the holder partner – to unbalance him – and play the ball with an advantage.

Players located in the area contrary to the orientation of the game/ball, will swing towards the central area, slightly delaying their position, so that they can intervene in the face of a possible loss of the ball.

In the case of the tips, if they receive the ball, FROM BACK TO THE OPPOSITE GOAL, they must play at the first touch by changing the orientation of the game, returning to the playing area in a circle, unless the opposite allows to turn and directly face the attack.

Power plants receiving the ball in emergency support should steer the game towards the opposite lane from which the ball that came to them came.

The holder must constantly have the support of a unchecked companion (or appearing in a previously created free space), offering:

  • In emergency
  • In lateral support or progression
  • At least one support in vertical and/or diagonal depth.

The player who rests from the line ahead of the ball, if the opposite allows him to manifest the pass line, will attempt to receive the ball behind the opposite defensive line. If you pique towards the holder, you can turn around if you are not pressed, or play with a tap by changing the orientation.

The holder:

  • You should prioritize progressing through driving (if there is free space), or playing in depth with the partner ahead of you who manifests it, or
  • You will play with the partner on the same line to change the orientation.
  • In the latter case you will play towards the line behind to reorient the offensive game, and/or maintain control/possession of the ball.)
