Players on the ball line, who are in the game's orientation (in a willingness to receive it directly) must show a tendency to progression, searching for the pass line or after darkening their score.

Players who are not in the game's orientation should show a tendency to help teammates in the line in the face of possible ball losses they may have (defensive surveillance). To do this they will be kept slightly closed and behind the line.

Considerations

Players in the raids will show breadth, taking into account that:

  • The player who is not in the orientation of the game must remain slightly closed (10-15 from the raid line), their goal will be to perform Defensive Surveillance, so that if the ball is lost, they can reach defensive zones before any opponents playing in their line.
  • Players who are not in the game orientation must quickly change their delayed and closed position if the holder orients the ball towards its demarcation, placing itself in amplitude and taking advantage of this scroll to find a pass line in relation to the opposite that marks it.

In the case of the LD, the side of the side contrary to the orientation of the game, if a teammate joins the attack, will close clearly to occupy the demarcation of the second center. This will balance the placement of the line.

The correct manifestation of amplitude (15-20 m) allows us to:

  • Make it difficult to mark the opposite in 2:2 situations:
  • Creating 1:1 situations, or
  • Leaving a partner unchecked.
  • Have enough space and time to play the ball effectively upon receipt.
  • Prevent a single opposite from dialing two teammates at once.
  • Facilitate orientation changes.
