The offensive sub-phase of HOME
Objective Features
Send the controlled ball to the Progression area in the possession of a counter goal-oriented teammate, with clear options for him to reach the completion zone in a controlled manner in less than 4/5 touches.
  • There is numerical superiority in relation to the opposite line of attack.
  • Direct or indirect orientation changes must be made until the opportunity to achieve the goal is manifested.
  • We must link and participate in this phase, the media line and/or attack line through triangulations and/or changes in pace in the Collective Game.

The offensive sub-phase of PROGRESION
Objective Features
Send the ball to the finishing area in less than 4/5 taps, and with options to be able to make the center /finisher.
  • The progression zone has large spaces that must be used to progress without losing possession of the ball (*1).
  • Once the ball is in the progression phase, the completion zone must be reached in less than 4/5 (*2) touches. If it is not achieved, the game should be redirected immediately with a direct or indirect orientation change.

(*1) It seems logical to think that four means of the defending team cannot cover the entire width of the field (approximately 60 meters) with real chances of avoiding control and progression of a well-structured team.

(*2) It is about not giving time to the contrary (we relate the "touches" with the "time" of handling the ball, so that it is more understandable for the player) with a "long" possession of the ball in a certain area, as it would allow it to override the playing spaces. This time/touch may be reduced or extended in relation to the technical quality of the holder (to more quality plus time of possession with guarantees of not lost), the greater collective swing of the opposite would allow to manifest more space (efficiency) for the receiving companion of the other zone / lane. If the quality is lower the time of possession in the same zone /demarcation should be less to avoid the loss that this reduction of spaces would cause.

The offensive sub-phase of FINALIZACIÓN
Objective Features
Get the center and the back shot at goal.
  • Absence of spaces and time (except for a counterattack action) because of the manifest numerical superiority of the adversary.
  • The dimensions of the goal and whether it is defended by a specialist increases the difficulties.
  • Prioritizing speed over accuracy
  • The game must be developed at a high speed, almost as a strategy with expected movements and actions.
  • Differentiate the movements and actions at the end zone entry by the ends or by the center.
